Sinomer ®HBVE is commonly used as an active diluent for fluororesins, unsaturated polyesters, superabsorbent resins, and UV curable coatings, and can crosslink with polyisocyanates and melamine resins. EthoxyHBVE can be used as a monomer for concrete water reducing agents.
This product is used as a copolymer monomer for fluorinated polymer resins in high durability coatings, which helps to improve solubility, adhesion, and cross-linking properties. With its hydroxyl functional groups, it can also be incorporated into polyurethane systems to provide pendant unsaturation.
