Crystal Violet Lactone is a key colorless dye, which belongs to the triphenylmethane phthalide series. CVL exhibits excellent light resistance and reversible thermal response. It is widely used in the manufacturing of pressure-sensitive and thermal-sensitive recording materials. In terms of thermal paper applications, CVL offers high color density, fast imaging speed, and good stability. It is a high-performance, low-toxicity leuco dye and has a good application prospect.

Mainly used in thermal paper, carbonless copy paper, pressure-sensitive materials, and reversible thermochromic printing.
