Agesin® RH-A4410L DMSO is a liquid 流变助剂 designed for medium‑polarity 溶剂‑borne and 溶剂‑free coating systems. It is chemically equivalent to RHEOBYK®-D 410 (the DMSO‑based version of BYK‑410). The product is supplied in dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) and provides highly thixotropic flow behavior, excellent anti‑settling properties, and improved sag resistance without compromising leveling. It is NMP‑free and NEP‑free.
Upon addition to a coating system, dilution of DMSO triggers crystallization of the modified polyurea into very fine, fibrous structures. These fibers form a reversible three‑dimensional network that imparts shear‑thinning behavior and rapid 粘度 recovery at rest. Activation is independent of temperature – no heating or cooling is required.
