Guanidine Carbonate is an organic synthesis raw material and analytical reagent. It is used as a pH regulator for amino resins, an antioxidant, a resin stabilizer, and for guanidine soaps. It also serves as a cement grouting agent and an additive for surfactants. In synthetic detergents, it functions as a moisture-resistant agent and a synergist. In gravimetric analysis of zinc, cadmium, and manganese, it is used as a precipitation agent. It is also used for the separation of magnesium from alkali metals.

• Pharmaceutical synthesis: Used as a guanidylation reagent in the production of pharmaceutical intermediates and active ingredients.

• Cosmetics & personal care: Acts as a pH adjuster and buffering agent in cosmetic formulations.

• Detergent industry: Functions as a moisture retainer, synergist, and stabilizer in synthetic detergents.

• Resin & polymer processing: Serves as a stabilizer and antioxidant for amino resins and other polymer systems.

• Analytical chemistry: Used as a precipitation reagent for zinc, cadmium, and manganese in gravimetric analysis; also used for the separation of magnesium from alkali metals.

• Construction chemicals: Added as a grouting agent for cement applications.

• Surfactant additives: Enhances the performance of various surfactant systems.
