AgeSin®RH-A4640 is a liquid 流变助剂 for 溶剂型涂料, improving the efficacy of fumed silica. It facilitates the incorporation of fumed silica, prevents delamination, and stabilizes/enhances rheological effects.
AgeSin®RH-A4640 acts like a 分散剂, making the addition of fumed silica more convenient. It stabilizes and improves its rheological effect. Under the same shear conditions, the effect is more pronounced in varnishes than in pigmented paints. It can reduce and prevent the precipitation of fumed silica in coatings.
AgeSin®RH-A4640 is most suitable for 溶剂-based coating systems based on polyester, acrylic, and alkyd resins containing fumed silica. The fumed silica must be at least partially hydrophilic. The addition of AgeSin®RH-A4640 provides better thixotropy to the binder, and thixotropic resin systems can also exhibit improved thixotropy.
