AgeSin® DP-L1800 is designed for the dispersion of organoclays and is used in the manufacturing of offset black inks and toluene-based gravure black inks. It is also suitable for dispersing organic pigments and carbon black in the production of color masterbatches.

For Offset & Gravure Black Ink Production:
Recommended dosage is 6% - 10% of the carbon black weight.
For Organoclay Dispersion:
AgeSin® DP-L1800 should be added during the dispersion stage of the organoclay or kaolin. Addition during the pre-gel stage is recommended.
Important Note: As AgeSin® DP-L1800 significantly reduces viscosity, the organoclay content in the pre-gel may need to be appropriately increased to maintain proper system viscosity and shear force, thereby enhancing dispersion effectiveness. Alternatively, the dosage of AgeSin® DP-L1800 can be reduced to a suitable level while keeping the organoclay amount fixed.
Recommended Dispersion Procedure:
In a high-speed mixer, blend the solvent and organoclay at approximately 3000 rpm for about 10 minutes.
Add AgeSin® DP-L1800 and continue mixing at 3000 rpm for 5 minutes.
Assess the dispersion quality by drawing down a sample on a glass plate.
