AgeSin® DP-D6104S is a solution of unsaturated polycarboxylic acid polymer and polysiloxane copolymer, suitable for medium to high polar systems. A wetting and dispersing agent that improves pigment wetting and stabilizes pigment dispersion, it produces controlled flocculation of pigments and extenders, thereby preventing floating/floating and hard settling. Suitable for medium to high polar systems, it is particularly effective in preventing floating of titanium dioxide when combined with other color pigments. It can also be used in amine-neutralized water-based coatings. It is incompatible with 溶剂 gasoline. When used in anti-rust primers, it enhances protective properties in many cases.
AgeSin® DP-D6104S also contains a small amount of polysiloxane copolymer, so it is more effective in preventing floating. Silicones also help prevent Bénard swirls and streaks, improve surface slip, leveling, and orientation of matting agents or aluminum powders, so additional silicone additives are often not required.
For best performance, the additives should be added to the grind first, before the pigment.
Dosages (as purchased) based on pigment:
Titanium dioxide: 0.5%-2.5%
Inorganic pigments: 3%-10%
Organic pigments: 10%-20%
